PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the story of CPB’s founders meeting together under a banyan tree at Ala Moana Beach park, the architecture makes plays with dual visual references to the organic curves of a tree canopy and banyan roots as well as shoreline and water ripples.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Surfhouse design concept is to pay homage to the famous surf houses that line the mile stretch of the North Shore major competition surf breaks. These "surfhouses" are where the pros call home during training, tour and competition seasons; surfers from around the world who come together in cohabitation, share stories, good times and companionship. The open sky-light was kept to give the space natural light. Large opening along the ocean facing wall opens to the house lawn were guests can enjoy special events.

The First Hawaiian Bank Lewers 5,061-square foot location, at 2181 Kalākaua Avenue, is just steps from FHB’s previous Waikīkī location. The branch features an open, contemporary design inspired by muliwai, the delta where the stream meets the sea, a nod to Waikīkī’s naturally rich and abundant past. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The redesign of the Pearlridge FHB branch included a refresh of two floors. On the first floor are a VTM vestibule, the main teller lobby, a media center, concierge, waiting area, office spaces, restrooms and conference rooms. On the second floor are additional meeting spaces, a training room, restrooms and an employee break room.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The land upon which Kamehameha and Princess Pauahi once resided and entertained is today the home of the Bank of Hawai‘i. Ka Nu‘u Ho‘oulu is a place to continue the tradition of hospitality, gathering, and sharing of council. The interconnected levels of staff and executive spaces also reemphasizes the bank’s investment in and value of its 2,100-plus employees. The coral walls of the atrium wall honor the coral block that once formed the home of the Princess and her family the Pākīs, Hale‘ākala (Pink Home).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
There are also many design elements to honor Queen Emma, whose history is tied to the land. Etchings of the Queen’s song can be seen in the glass elevators, her favorite water lilies are floating in the pond and there below is a healing garden, representing the Queen’s desire to care for the Hawaiian people. Designed to celebrate the history of the site, it will offer a Hawaiian sense of place that honors Queen Emma’s legacy while adding vitality and appeal to Waikīkī.

Named after the pa‘akai (Hawaiian for “salt”) ponds that once dotted the low-lying wetlands of this area, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako is on a 130,000 sf site of mixed-use development by Kamehameha Schools that is designed to foster a sense of place and community. WCIT Architecture worked with the internal cultural and commercial teams at Kamehameha Schools to embody a Hawaiian urban sense of place at SALT. Where innovation, authenticity and passion are woven into the fabric of the community.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Nā Lama Kukui is property owned by OHA and formerly known as the Gentry Pacific Design Center. Designed with flexible floor plans with high ceilings and skylights in many spaces which create an opening and inviting atmosphere. The office renovation comprised of 40,000 square-feet space including all new office furnishings. The design objective was to create an environment that was warm, inviting, professional, timeless and innovative. The vision was to create an open office environment that would encourage collaboration and communication amongst the staff in a contemporary office setting.
