DESCRIPTION
Located in West Maui, The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas is a destination timeshare resort in the Starwood Vacation Ownership portfolio. The project is located on an 11.471 acre oceanfront site in North Beach Kā‘anapali.
he gently sloping lot has significant views of Moloka‘i and Lāna‘i to the West as well as the West Maui Mountains to the East. The lot requires a 150’ setback from the shoreline and includes a beachwalk linking the resort properties and public parks within the North Beach subdivision. Lateral beach access is provided for public use.
Program included 258 two-bedroom timeshare units, restaurant, fitness center, general store, pool bar & grill, keiki (kids) club, sales center, 3 pools, and 4 level parking structure. Master planning of the site called for a staggered/stepped building plan. The building design sought to break up the building massing to appear less monolithic, create separation to neighboring timeshare properties and to soften the visual impact.
